At 19 km long and just over 1 km wide at its narrowest point,Formentera is a slender isthmus connecting the towering cliffs of Faro De La Mola at one end with the gentler swell of Cap de Barbaria at the other. It&#8217;s the shape of a boomerang or a dog bone, a Tippex dot on a ma of the Mediterranean , and where those in the know go to escape the incessant heat and ceaseless crowds of Ibiza. The 30 minute ferry crossing &#8230;a single main road flanked by cycle lanes connects the island&#8217;s six villages..you can hire bikes and scooters everywhere ..
